We’re looking for future Rare Talent to join our Jardine Internship Programme. If you aspire to become a business leader, dare to challenge the status quo, and are deeply curious to learn new things, then you’re in the right place.
GET AN EARLY START TO BECOMING A BUSINESS LEADER
The six-week paid Jardine Internship Programme is designed to put you through the paces of our diverse businesses. You’ll gain first-hand experience of what a career at Jardines looks like while also taking part in a variety of real business projects, professional skills workshops, and networking events. Combined with the invaluable relationships you’ll gain during your internship, the experience will help you become a future business leader.
You’ll take ownership of your work along with enterprising colleagues and a manager, who will map out project expectations, provide guidance and work closely with you on a post-programme review of your experience.
Interns who successfully complete the internship with satisfactory performance will be considered for the Jardine Executive Trainee Scheme (JETS).

I am not a business student, can I apply?
Jardine Internship Programme is not limited to Business students. In fact, we welcome candidates from broad and diverse backgrounds to bring different perspectives to our business.

Do you hire non-penultimate students or graduates?
Jardine Internship Programme aims to recruit penultimate students. If you have been working for a number of years and accumulated a certain level of professional experience, you may want to consider applying for open positions under experienced hire.

How many interns will Jardines take on each year?
We do not have a quota. We will take on high-calibre individuals as long as they meet our selection criteria, demonstrate leadership potential and excel in their performance throughout the entire assessment process.

How long does it take to complete the Online Immersive Assessment and Job Simulation?
For Online Immersive Assessment, you will have 5 days to complete it upon receiving the invitation. The assessment itself is not timed, in general it takes around 1 hour to complete it.
For Job Simulation, again you will have 5 days to complete it upon receiving the invitation. For the assessment itself, most of the questions are not timed (except for a few video- based questions on which a time limit is imposed). As a general reference, it takes around 2 hours to complete it.

Can the Online Immersive Assessment and Online Job Simulation be completed on a tablet or mobile phone?
Yes, tablets and mobile phones are supported for the Online Immersive Assessment, but you will need your laptop or desktop computer if you are invited to complete the Online Job Simulation assessment. If possible, we would recommend completing all assessments using a laptop or desktop computer.

Can I take the Online Immersive Assessment and Job Simulation in my native language?
Both the Online Immersive Assessment and Job Simulation are set in English, as we expect our interns to communicate effectively with people from diverse backgrounds. We pay special attention to write the assessment items in plain English to ensure candidates with English as a first or second language will all be on an equal playing field.

Whom should I contact if I encounter technical problems (e.g. internet disconnection during the test / can’t access the test platform)?
In Online Immersive Assessment stage, in the rare case that you face technical challenges in completing a question, you may refresh the page and try again. If the issue persists, you may contact our assessment provider by sending email to JETS@cappfinity.com.
In Job Simulation stage, the assessment is supported by Frequently Asked Questions documentation which can be accessed within the assessment. When will I hear back if I am invited to final interview?
You can expect to hear back from us one week prior to the final interview date.

What happens at the final interview?
The final stage will be a 45-minute individual interview session with our Group HR management, to explore your areas of strength and development, as well as your motivation to join us. It’ll be conducted either physically or virtually depends on your location.

I don’t have a business background. How do I prepare for the selection process?
Our trainees come from all degree disciplines, and many of them do not have a business degree. We focus more on your leadership qualities and attitudes, rather than your technical knowledge. Could I shorten or extend my internship?
The internship is designed to be a 6-week programme it is ideal for all interns to attend the internship in full.

Is it a paid internship?
Yes, the internship is paid.

Will I be admitted to JETS or receive another full-time position offer after the internship?
The internship is one of the routes to the Jardine Executive Trainee Scheme (JETS) and we will review each intern’s suitability for the programme at the completion of the internship. It may be that you will need to attend an assessment centre, but you will be considered before we open up the application process for other candidates.
